How / why did Recycled Movie get started? |

Founder Chase White was seeking a way to mentor student filmmakers while independently funding these learning projects. To generate revenue, White began collecting recyclable beverage containers from friends and neighbors, cashing them in for the CRV REFUND .
These small donations were enough to build momentum, and collections increased to catered events, play openings, fund raisers, and holiday office parties. Earning 4 to 8 cents per container produced small change in the right direction.
