"STILL ME" takes a brave and heartwarming look at the challenges a stroke victim faces when dealing with friends and family who cannot see past his physical disability.
This project was conceived by the film’s writer/director Beth McElhenny who, in December 2002, was struck down with a stroke that required lengthy rehabilitation and lifestyle changes. During her rehabilitation she found one of the challenges was dealing with the various reactions friends and family members were having towards her state which inspired her to write, "Still Me".
For his compelling performance, SCOTT KING was awarded the Best Actor award at the SpudFest, hosted by Dawn Wells at the Idaho Film & Television Institute. “Still Me” also stars TINA GLOSS (Pushing Daisies) and CHASE WHITE (Inspector Gadget, JAG)
